Pastor Wilbur Phillips

Elder Wilbur Phillips, Jr. has been the pastor of First Baptist Church in Delair, NJ  since  2003. He resides in Sicklerville, NJ with his wife Angela, and their son, Lanei, and daughter, Erin. Raised in Burlington, NJ, he matriculated in the Burlington City school system and upon graduation from high school, he furthered his education at S.U.N.Y. Brockport and at Howard University. He has also studied at P.B.U. in Langhorne, PA as well as Word Bible Institute in Burlington, NJ. He loves to teach and preach the Word of God for the growth of Jesus Christ in the lives of those who will receive.  His favorite scripture is Rom. 5:8 – “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Angela Phillips, serves as the First Lady of First Baptist Church of Delair. She has been happily married to Elder Wilbur Phillips Jr., Senior Pastor, since 1999 . The couple have two awesome children, Lanei and Erin. First Lady Phillips serves as the founder & director of My Sister’s Keeper Women’s Ministry. A ministry designed to uplift, strengthen and educate women in their Spiritual wellness. She also serves as the director of the Youth Ministry, Pastors Aide, Joyful Noise Youth Choir and Praise & Worship Ministry. She has been blessed to speak along side of her husband at various marriage retreats and family conferences. First Lady Phillips is dedicated to strengthening the body of Christ in whatever capacity that God has planned for her life..
